Andy Cohen: «Housewives» because of a reunion like «Real World»?

I thought it was such an important exchange that we had at the meeting when I said, “I get DM’s from people saying, you should be fired for promoting not wearing masks” and she said: I get DM’s from people who think you’re non-American because you don’t like Trump. I was glad she said that, because I bet she gets a lot of DM from people who think that way. And that’s the exact representation of the country we live in. I have 50% of people who say she’s behaving badly, and 50% of people say, “Your boss is an ass.” So I thought that was really important and really very representative of our situation.

Andy Cohen, host of E! ’s “For Real: The Story of Reality TV” and Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,” is seen in WWHL studios at Embassy Row in Manhattan.

There have been some pretty shocking developments in the world of “housewives” over the years – Taylor Armstrong [“Beverly Hills”] dealing with the suicide of her husband, Joe and Teresa Giudice [“New Jersey”] going to jail. The recent split between Tom and Erika Girardi [“Beverly Hills”], as well as the allegations and revelations about her, were shocking. Were you surprised by all that?
