At the heart of a rather unknown region (at least from our point of view, we are French), Ozark finds its originality and every chance to stand out to exist by itself in a sum of small details. In the tilt of the script as it progresses, but also in this ability not to brush the viewer in the direction of the hair, to shock but knowing where to stop so as not to do too much. So yes, we think of Bloodline and Breaking Bad, two of the best shows of the last years, but only because Ozark is made of the same wood and has, given this superb series of episodes, all the chances to impose with the same evocative force in the years to come…
